Last week's episode went well. Erin was happy that I at least tried to be less abrasive. So, for the tyme being I will continue this "nicer" version of my contemptuous blog designed to show light on the evils of the democratic party.
In part one we discussed how the democrats promote victimhood through racism, how they are systematically dismantling the nuclear family (especially in the black community), and how they love to blame the rich for all the world's problems.
In part 2, I intend to lay out why big government is a great failure and why democrats will eventually move to end private property.
The best example of the failure of big government is the response to the Great Depression. As we were beginning to recover from the Depression, President Hoover, in opposition to thousands of economists, signed the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930. Within six months of signing into law, unemployment hit double digits and did not drop until WW2.
That Smoot Act was not the whole reason the Great Depression lasted as long as it did. No, it was also the explosion of government under FDR. There are still agencies enacted under FDR doing nothing more than wasting money.
Here is the skinny of it all - the Federal government cannot solve problems. They only excel at one thing: throwing money at a problem. They start up some do-nothing agency and give it a huge budget.
Let's go over how government budgets work. For this review, we will use a made-up agency.
Ant Farm Intelligencia, or AFI.
AFI ensures all Ant farms are up to code and follow all regulations that they have made up. AFI has a $10mil a year budget. Guess what? As of 9 months, AFI is on pace to finish all its duties for only $7mil. Awesome news, right? You will be wrong. AFI will guarantee that they spend all their money by the 11th month, so they can go to Congress and ask for $12mil next year. So, the next year they get it and have "conferences" all over the world to see how other governments regulate their Ant Farms. Maybe do some team building in Hawaii. Don't forget that they will also need to buy assault rifles and ammunition. Ant Farmers are known to be extremist by the way. Then the following year they need $15mil, and on and on.
There is not a single federal agency that operates under budget and is competent. So why is this a case against democrats when it seems to be a Federal government problem that both sides are guilty of? Well, because of timing mainly. We are in a recession. When you are in a recession, putting excessive amounts of money into an inflated economy will only make inflation worse. How do we know? It has happened every single tyme our government has done it.
*Side Note*This past week we have witnessed yet another attempt at throwing a ton of money into an inflated market. This student loan forgiveness, or wealth redistribution, vote-buying scheme, or whatever you call it, is (damnit I want to say some nasty things right now) not helpful. It is also brilliant. The democrats are great at one thing - marketing.
This loan forgiveness ploy will not survive the court. At least it should not pass the court. But let's say it does, who is the big hero? Those sympathetic democrats. If not, who is to blame? Yep, those racist, women-hating Trump Supreme Court Justices. Either way, it is a great tactic to deploy just before mid-terms.
The democrats are not willing to let capitalism work. They honestly think that they can fix the economy by simply printing more money. They probably believe FDR ended the Great Depression, and of course, they would be wrong.
Socialists will always claim that even though socialism has never worked if you give them a chance, they are sure this tyme they can make it work. And the coyote will finally get the roadrunner to slam into the mountain instead of running right through it.
We might as well stay on socialism, its main endorsers the World Economic Forum, and what it means for America. It means the end of America. You will own nothing and be happy. That is the proclamation made by a man that is a modern incarnation of Karl Marx, Mr. Klaus Schwab.
Some slave owners used to have thoughts resembling this. Some would openly tell slaves that they were the lucky ones because they didn't have to make any decisions and that responsibility for property is a big drag. I am pretty sure the slaves had a completely different definition of "lucky."
There are way too many people with power who advocate for socialism and the mission of the WEF. AOC and Bernie are the obvious ones, but there are plenty are others. Cori Bush, Rashida Tlaib, Jamaal Brown, and on and on. Bernie at least doesn't actually believe in socialism; he just lykes to preach it. Otherwise, he would practice it and lead by example. As far as the rest of them goes…..
These are seriously troubling tymes. America at its foundation is predicated on freedom. Do not get me started on the whole slavery bit either. We can have a bigger discussion on that later. The moment we start taking away the right to own personal property is the moment we will all become slaves. Without private property, we are completely under the control of the government.
In the original draft of the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson had written the "trinity" as being life, liberty, and property. Property was something the founders knew to be a pillar of freedom. Again, at some point we will have a bigger discussion on slavery, people being property, and America's role in that age-old practice. But for now, the term "pursuit of happiness" did have a more poetic ring than "property."
We have now seen that when a certain political party is in control, they weaponize federal agencies against their political opposition. What will happen when the government owns everything, and you speak out against the hand that feeds you? The current resident of the White House is going after Republicans that took PPE money and also oppose the Student Loan forgiveness. Apples to oranges.
Now I am all about going after people who frauded the system and got millions of dollars. I am all about the government going after all fraud. Fraudulent claims in the US cost more than half a trillion dollars a year. Everything from welfare fraud to Medicaid fraud is rampant and needs to be reigned in.
However, the PPE grants were meant to provide businesses, large and small, some relief during government-mandated shutdowns. That is the difference. The government told businesses that they must shut down, but they didn't tell kids to go to school and get a degree in Interpretive dance. Nope, you should pay for that one by yourself, buckeroo.
Next tyme, I will give my closing arguments, if you will, and I am sure you will all agree that the democratic party must not maintain control of the House or the Senate. Following that, I will go ahead and make a case against the Republican party. Trust me, I am too happy about them either.
Til then, keep on smiling and the whole world will smile with you.
