When is enough enough? You cannot escape the politics of the day. Even if you do not watch the news or scroll through Facebook, you are constantly bombarded with politics or political activism. Hell, that waste of space, and hopefully the next Democrat nominee for President AOC made veggies political. Go ahead and look that up. HAHA. The worse is when hospitals became political during the China Flu Epidemic. How many people did the hospitals let die because they would not get vaccinated? All in the name of politics. And now you have everything from the Mouse to Door Dash getting in on politics. Are we passed the point of no return? Or did we become political at just the right tyme? I honestly do not know, but let's go ahead and figure it out.
We must first remember that we are not living in unique tymes. Since our founding, we have been a divided country. The difference is our founding fathers were smart enough to use the "C" word.
That's right, compromise.
*Side note* Nothing drives me crazy more than when some Libtard (Full disclosure, this term is not approved by my wife)starts screaming about how "America is founded on the necks of slaves" or some other variation of that. Many of our Forefathers wanted to abolish slavery. Which by the way was a notion that did not exist until the 18th century. Before the 18th century, nobody thought slavery was an evil institution. Slavery was widely accepted as social norm for centuries. (the next sentence was written in a severe case of sarcasm) But, hey our forefathers were racist pigs.
Libtards (again, my wife feels that name calling is not couth, but hey, I am not of great elk, so na na na boo boo) also lyke to pretend that slavery was unique not only to America but also that slavery was exclusively that of Africans being enslaved by whites or Europeans. Every race throughout history was either slaves or masters at some point. Every single race. The North American Slave Trade was a small portion of the worldwide slave epidemic. Don't get it twisted; this is not an excuse or an attempt to absolve America in her involvement in slavery, or a "good for the goose, good for the gander" defense either. We must know our whole history.
Ok, compromise. Our founders knew that for us to declare independence from England we must be united. That meant compromising at the moment and hoping future generations would be able to end slavery. That was the only way to ensure the birth of a nation. And when we did end slavery, it came at an exuberant cost. Then America and the Western Civilization set out to end slavery in the rest of the world, much to the protest of Africa and Eastern Civilization. And even still today slavery exists in parts of the world.
To backtrack for just a moment, let us not forget that in the years preceding the Civil War, America was extremely politically divided. Are we at that point today? I truly hope not. I pray not.
Following the Civil War, we had nearly a hundred years of national peace, politically speaking. A skirmish here and there, but nothing noteworthy except for the disastrous New Deal.
Hard tymes do have a unifying effect.
Tymes were indeed hard considering there were 2 world wars and a depression. Then came the ‘60s. Oh brother.
Talk about a politically divided country. Race riots. Assassinations. The Great Society. Murder rates and coincidentally (or maybe not) divorce rates rose at troubling speeds. So, what happened? Marxism in America began to reveal its ugly self.
I am not going to do a deep dive into Marxism; I am just going to give the highlights. Marx and some dimwit Engel suggested that materialism or rather Capitalism was bad and came up with a new system where rainbows piss gold and everyone is happy.
The trouble is people were content if not happy with many of the economic systems of the day, so nothing ever materialized. Marxists were sure that during the economic turmoil before and after both world wars, people would convert to idiotic ideologies. But they didn't. Why would they since we in America had a thriving middle-class post WW2? They had to make a strategy change. So, they hijacked social issues, turned unions into Marxist training institutions, and infiltrated our universities and news media.
I know I sound lyke some crazed conspiracy nut when I say the news has not been trustworthy since the 1920s, but hey, prove me wrong. *Remember the original "Fake News" was how the newspapers reported on the radio broadcast of the War of the Worlds, and all their claims of mass hysteria. It did not happen by the way.* The communist leaders in Vietnam after the war have accredited the US News as being the biggest factor in winning the war. Here is the absolute travesty of it: I believe the commies over our own news.
Marxists have been outstanding in playing the long con.
In my eyes, their first major victory was getting God removed from public places. After that, everything else fell into place. Not to preach, but if you track overall American happiness back ‘70 years and also track Christian Church participation, you will see a parallel decline in both. And at the same tyme, you will notice another parallel increase in divorce, murder, and STDs.
Just some food for thought.
We will do a deep dive into Marxism at some later date, but remember, Engels wrote in the first draft of the Communist Manifesto that one of their objectives was the dissolution of the nuclear family. We are weaker when we are divided.
Libs also love to deny that households were deeply affected once we became a welfare state. Once they began to incentivize a single-parent family, they declared war on freedom. The Civil Rights Act improved the lives of one group of black people (race baiters) far more than the rest of the black community. While household income for blacks did rise throughout the ‘60s, it started falling once Affirmative Action began running rampant. While change was needed, we are still paying that cost and will be paying it for the foreseeable future.
It was not just the black family under attack either. The women's lib movement worked tirelessly trying to convince women that they were prisoners or slaves to oppressive patriarchy. There is no "one shoe fits all” lifestyle, but the nuclear family is historically the most rewarding, acceptable, and sustainable life choice.
For far too long the left/media/Marxists (they are indistinguishable) have been able to spread without impunity the myth of the gender wage gap. It has been announced so many tymes that people blindly accept it. The facts are that single women who never married tend to make more than men, married women tend to make 76% of what men make, and divorced/widowed women make 88% of men. We can either talk about inconvenient truths, or we can make a blanket statement that all women make less than all men and be technically true. Then again it used to be “true” that only women could have children.
Affirmative Action ultimately did its job.
No, not by narrowing the gaps between the races and sexes. It did its job by creating conflict between the races and the sexes.
So then fast forward to the present. Are we more politically divided today than at any other tyme in our history? No. But we are eerily close. Marxism is now front and center. It is not hiding behind anything anymore. Black Lives Matter is openly Marxist, and corporations are bowing down to them.
Bill Burr, a pretty funny comedian by all accounts, has said, "Ok white people, sit down and take your talking to."
HAHA, bullshit! That is exactly what the left wants. For years it was considered impolite to discuss religion and politics. By whose standards? We must be open about our Christianity and not bow down to Marxism in the guise of wokeism. Shame on hospitals of all places asking about pronouns. Shame on Disney for having a trans…whatever giving tampon advice in a cartoon. And what the hell did Door Dash accomplish by giving "butt friendly food options during pride month"? Seriously, what the….? Don't get me started on so-called docs who not only give hormone blockers to kids but also mutilate them. Do no harm, my ass! ARGGG!
We do have hope. I think/hope so anyway. We need to speak up anytyme someone asks for our pronouns. Screw that. We need to speak up anytyme someone mentions equity or privilege. Whatever. We need to be open about our faith. We need to transition from the silent majority to a loud majority of common sense. Do not be afraid to offend people. In short, we need to fight or lose the country.
I think the best way to fight back is to expose what these people are doing. Post about every “Children Drag Show” at libraries. Post every article that discusses/encourages CRT being taught. I have always believed that the best way to fight white supremacy was not by limiting their speech but by putting a spotlight on it. That is how we can fight back.
Here’s one, in Great Britain a man was arrested for posting a meme of the “Pride Fag” in the shape of the swastika. Not very clever, but he was arrested nonetheless because his post caused someone high anxiety. So, while the meme was not clever, it is in fact ironic. Arrested over speech seems to me the most Nazi ideal of the past century.
Stay frosty my friends.
