So, what's new everybody?  Oh yeah, we have another impeachment.  Yay!  The left is so afraid of the Agent Orange that they will stop at nothing until he is removed.  It truly is Trump Derangement Syndrome, but hey, the Left does not give up.  They have been calling for impeachment days after the 2016 election.  Good luck retards.  Before we get into this week's topic, let's get to know the commie in chucks a little better.  Your next president refused to prosecute child-molesting priests after receiving large sums of donations from the Catholic Church.  We already know how she feels about sexual assault victims, ask Jacob Blake's girlfriend.  That seems to be a perfect segue into this week's topic, traitors, and lobbyist.

Lyke unions, the lobbyist was a good idea when they started.  Unlyke unions, there is still a place for lobbyists.  At its very core, lobbyists help bring attention to issues are representatives might not be aware of.  It seems lyke a good idea on paper, lyke socialism.  And just lyke socialism, corruption, and greed have destroyed the heart and soul of lobbyism.

Lobbyists will say that they give a voice to those who can't speak.  There is truth to that.  If there is a group of people who are not getting a fair shake, they can hire a lobbyist to make a case for them.  They are helpful because they know how D.C. works.  The aggravating thing is that we have allowed D.C. to be able to run the way it has for far too long.  Back alley deals, envelopes of money, quid pro quos, and God knows what else, is how D.C. is run.  We know this, and we do nothing about it.  We are to blame.  Next tyme some egregious piece of legislature gets passed, and you get mad, just walk over to a mirror, and say, “It’s all your fault” because it is.  (Wow, that got really dark and depressing quick)

Where did lobbying go bad?  That’s easy, money.  Funny how everything goes back to money.  Almost every single blog I have written is about how we spend or waste too much money.  Is there any wonder that an industry that rakes in over $3billion a year is fraught with corruption?  All that money is transferred openly through legalized bribing, or I guess the technical term is campaign contributions.  Money buys influence, and lobbyists represent a lot of money.  Who is going to get more tyme or consideration; you with your $20dollar contribution or a lobbyist who just donated $1million (that's a very conservative figure)?

So, who lobbies and why?  Private prisons lobby for strict drug laws.  Why?  Occupancy.  Big Pharma, why?  Reduced regulations and reduced liability.  Amazon lobbies for a federal minimum wage of $15hr, why?  Most of their employees already $15hr because they have been able to source out lower-paying jobs to robots.  Big business lobby for regulations that they can easily follow but will hurt small businesses.  Side note: Amazon supported mail-in votes for the presidential election yet fought to not allow mail-in votes when warehouse votes to go union or not.  Why, because they worried about fraud.  That’s two things I agree with Amazon on, unions and fraud.

Since the title of this blog mentions traitors, let's jump on over to those assholes.  According to my computer, a traitor is defined as a person who betrays a friend, country, principle, etc.… Here is a little fun fact about China.  Every company in China operates at the will of the Chinese government.  They have a law that says every organization and citizen shall support and cooperate in national intelligence work.  Every single lobbyist who is paid for by a Chinese company is a traitor, including Louisiana's own David Vitter.  A man we paid well over $3million to look after our interests and wellbeing just so he can use his connections to make even more money looking after China's best interest.  We paid him very well for his training, and what do we get back in return?  A big Fuck You, America!  Vitter is not the only person to betray us, he is just one of the latest ones.

Again, whose fault is it?  Ours!  We need to be better informed.  We need to demand change.  Why do these people fight so hard to get elected?  One group wants power, and if you survive a couple elections, you have power.  Others just want enough tyme to make connections so they can cash in with a lobbying firm.  It is downright disgraceful.

How would we go about fixing it?  Ideally, I would lyke to eliminate all private lobby firms.  I would create a public lobby office.  Something akin to a public defender office.  I know it seems odd for me to advocate for creating more government jobs since most of my blogs are about eliminating the size of the government, but these are strange tymes.  Since lobbying is so entangled with campaign funding, we should address that as well.

All campaign funds and donations need to be centralized.  Every single dollar should go to one place with a memo for who it is meant for.  When the recipient receives his or her funds every quarter or so, there will be no names attached to it.  Every donation will be anonymous.  No more buying $1,500 seats at a dinner either.  If you donate $1 or $1million, you get put in a raffle for dinner for 2 and a chance to meet whatever slimeball you support.  They will cheat and they will try to get one over on us, and they will succeed.  The least we can do is make 'em earn it.

I will be sure to share what Kennedy, Scalise, and that… Cassidy has to say about my suggestions.  I'm sure it's going to be some lame form letter about how awesome lobbyists are.  It's always some lame form letter, I know because evertyme they respond, it's pretty much the same letter.  I feel bad for Cassidy, but it's hard to feel bad for someone who is going to pocket over a million dollars and get absolutely nothing done.  We are being robbed blind, and it is our own fault.  Til next tyme, sayonara.
